Our First Stop in Chandler County Is...

Happy release day to my fellow author Cherime MacFarlane whose Chandler County novel, Missing Alaska is out today! Let’s get to know Cherime and her book.

The book:

Kentucky holds a surprise for a young Native Alaskan man on the run, a young girl with a desperate need to get far from Chandler County.

Russell is running from the mess he made in Alaska during Thanksgiving. By allowing his resentment of his mother and step-father’s living arrangement to motivate him, he hurt both his mother and step-sister’s feelings. A road trip far from Alaska seemed like the cure. But Kentucky holds a surprise for Russ.

Gentry is the youngest of four children. Her sister and middle brother both joined the military and left her home to care for her father. Augie Dane is a ginseng hunter with a drinking problem. His oldest son isn’t much better. Gentry is on the run when Russ almost runs her over on Bald Knob Road. Things are about to get hot in Chandler County.

The Author:
In 1976, Cherime moved to Alaska kicking and screaming. Now, she never wants to leave.
As a reporter for the Copper Valley Views, Cherime MacFarlane received a letter of commendation from the Copper River Native Association for fair and balanced reporting. Cherime won the Hardest Working Author Award from Author Classified. Cherime is an Amazon best-selling author whose works include Highland Light: The MacGrough Clan, Book One, The Copper River Romances series and the Life and Love in Alaska series just to name a few.
